Will Kain is currently Senior Vice President at Rusheen Capital Partners ("RCP").  RCP manages the spin out and commercialization of often underutilized intellectual and physical assets and technologies from its private equity, corporate and university partners.  RCP provides merchant banking services including: evaluating opportunities, raising and investing capital and hiring management to maximize the value its partners can extract from their technology and asset portfolios.

 

Will has nearly 10 years of experience managing early-stage cleantech startup companies.  Most recently, Will spent 5 years as Vice President of Corporate Development for NanoH2O, Inc., global provider of reverse osmosis membranes that leverage nanotechnology to lower the cost of desalination.  After leading the company's efforts to raise more than $110M in total capital, Will ran point on the transaction team for NanoH2O's April 2014 sale to LG Chem, the $22B leading global chemical division of Korea's LG Group.
